As Copywriter with production agency Rally On (now part of Dealmaker), I script pitch videos, social ads, and content for equity crowdfunding campaigns.
I’ve written pitches for multi-million dollar companies AND for exciting young startups.
My campaigns have raised millions of dollars in capital — and counting.
Surf Lakes
I created the pitch for a viral surf tourism concept.
This company was already blowing up online, with celebrity endorsements and viral attention. They were asking for a lot of money. The stakes were super high.
I worked with the production team and client to nail down a tight video that manages to educate the audience about breakthrough technology, build credibility with proof and testimonials… and to get some sick surfing footage in there, too.
I also worked on messaging strategy and copy for their investment landing page.




iotty
I crafted the messaging for a luxury smart home company’s fundraising campaign.
iotty was a successful international company with a patented smart home light switch. They needed a big influx of capital to take the next leap.
The challenge was to explain the technology simply enough to show the benefits at a glance, but with enough technical detail to see what makes it special.

Ology Brewing
I built the messaging strategy and pitch for an up-and-coming Florida brewery.
Ology Brewing was doing great as a fan-favorite regional brewery. They needed to convince their fans to become investors.
There are a million great craft breweries out there. Why should you invest in this one? That’s the tricky part of a campaign like this, where the client has a strong customer base, but it’s confined to a specific region and subculture.
But that weakness is also a strength. We tapped into Ology fans’ strong emotional connection with the brand to drive a powerful fundraising campaign.
I did all of the messaging for their landing page, too.




Berkshire Biomedical
I created the investment pitch for a patented medical device that dispenses precise, controlled opioid doses at home.

Another technical pitch, with intense medical and legal details to convey in a snappy little video. My favorite kind of challenge.
Even the most technical pitch is rooted in emotion.
Naturally, we started with the world-changing, lifesaving potential for a device that offers better treatment options for opioid addiction.
We were lucky to get interview footage with real patients, which added pathos — and an extra challenge for me to make it all work.

Enki
I wrote the pitch for a VC-backed online learning platform.
Enki needed to convince investors that it’ll be the go-to AI-focused e-learning platform of the future.
It’s hard to stand out in a crowded field. It’s even harder when you don’t have a physical product to show off — an online learning platform doesn’t necessarily make for compelling visuals.
As always, the answer was: emotion. We played on anxieties about getting left behind in a fast-moving world. But we kept it refined and even-keeled.
Remember, we’re not selling the product to users; we’re convincing people to invest in the company.

Hypha Labs
I wrote the campaign for a countertop mushroom incubator — a perfect product for equity crowdfunding.
Hypha Labs offers a groundbreaking product, bringing lab-level cultivation equipment to the kitchen. An expensive, niche product with a savvy user base — a perfect case for crowdfunding.
This was a tricky campaign, with so much science and technology to communicate. How do we ensure the audience understands the wow factor AND the nuts & bolts?
We used the founders’ enthusiasm, paired with great visuals, to deliver a punchy pitch.
