Building Meomind
Raising capital and building a user base in mental health tech
As Content Lead at a SaaS startup, I built a brand that earned trust with investors, corporate customers, and users.
I wireframed and wrote the Meomind website👇 from start to finish.
On the B2C👇 side, I helped Meomind grow to a top 10 therapy app on the App Store with 100k+ users and a 4.9-star rating.
On the B2B👇 side, I crafted Meomind’s client pitches and campaigns, along with funnels and on-boarding content for end users.
I contributed to the app itself with UX writing and strategy👇.
Plus thought leadership👇: blogs (SEO & AEO), executive ghostwriting, and PR.
Website
I planned and wrote a website that made Meomind simple and clear for a variety of target audiences: individual users, B2B customers, and investors.
To build a client’s website, I help work out their brand strategy from scratch.
Who’s using the site? What do they want? What’s our desired outcome for each user?
First, I help nail down the story. Then I organize information for maximum clarity and influence.
That site map becomes a master brand document, informing all future content decisions.

B2C
With ads, influencer marketing, and social strategy, I helped Meomind grow to a top 10 therapy app on the App Store with 100k+ users and a 4.9-star rating.
Social: influencers and ads
I identified relevant micro-influencers, did outreach, and drafted their scripts.
I also handled classic text-based social ads, like the last slide here.
These small steps laddered up to a huge, organic user base. That was the launchpad the client needed to transition to B2B.
B2B
As Meomind grew into the B2B phase, I crafted pitches, messaging, and ad campaigns for corporate clients.
At the same time, I built content for end-users: members of insurance plans and employees of corporations who offer Meomind as a health benefit. Funnel sequences, email newsletters, Slack messages — I did it all.
Pitch decks
B2B pitch decks are tricky. They have to be info-dense, shareable, and persuasive — both as presentations and as standalone files.
I help clients hone the story, deploy proof points, and tailor the pitch for each individual prospect.
On-boarding emails
A SaaS product is only successful if people actually use it. Getting a big B2B contract doesn’t mean much if nobody adopts the service,
I built a carefully sequenced messaging framework to on-board users through emails, Slack messages, and reminders.
Newsletters
We built a healthy, engaged user base by offering people content with genuine value and relevance.
My newsletter open rates hovered around 60-70%, way above industry benchmarks.
They’re chock full of links to solid, reliable sources. They’re also built to be repurposed as evergreen content for blogs and social posts.
writing for the app
UX & micro-copy
Meomind gave me the opportunity to flex: strategizing and writing for the app itself. I love UX writing. So much of my work is about being memorable or persuasive, but UX should be invisible and frictionless.
A mental health app is even more nuanced. Every screen and interaction must build trust and legitimacy, scaling up to an experience that feels safe, warm, and encouraging.
I worked with the product team to hone voice and tone, maintaining clinical accuracy without losing clarity or emotional impact.

App on-boarding
An on-boarding sequence should be encouraging, with clear targets and goals.
This redesign resulted in higher usage, with more users reaching the 5-session clinical target.
App home
A classic challenge: how to name categories and tags in a way that’s pithy but clear?
Thought leadership
Blogs, articles, press, SEO & AEO, and executive ghostwriting.
I helped Meomind and its CEO, Sushant, build a reputation as leaders in the mental health tech space.

Blogs
My content strategy is always human-centered and straightforward, even — or especially — when we’re optimizing for search.
In a way, AI search has validated what I’ve been saying for years: make clear, meaningful content that provides real value to an intelligent, informed audience.
I write for answers first, not for buzzwords.
I prioritize clean readable structure, direct definitions, comparisons, and anticipating real pain points.
Turns out, that’s exactly what AI search wants, too: meaningful chunks that are easy to extract and cite.
The Meomind FAQ is a great example of how clear, empathetic writing can be a powerful tool in SEO & AEO.
Executive ghostwriting & LinkedIn
I positioned Sushant, Meomind’s Founder & CEO, as a thought leader in mental health tech. I wrote LinkedIn posts and articles on platforms like Forbes Business Council.

Socially relevant
Responding to recent news is a great way to show your thought process, take a stand, and build your brand.

Addressing customer pain points
I jump on stories and studies that are directly relevant to our B2B customer base.

Showing sensitive expertise
Long form articles are a great chance to show detailed analysis and strategic thinking.
Public relations
I helped Meomind draft, edit, and pitch PR stories and partnerships, ranging from typical press releases and boilerplate to ghostwritten articles.
This stuff can be pretty dry, so I always try to have a bold take and a strong brand voice wherever possible.
